Setting up MY1,2 & 3. I have FOUR lenses!

I was wondering why go through the hassle since I shoot really basic, using manual mode 80% of the time etc, but hadn't thought of the EXIF data... Interesting... Maybe I ought to spend some time tomorrow and enter all the data into the camera after all!

🙂

U can also save them to an sd card. I have been using the old 16 to 512mb cards to save to. Some of them were freebies. Marked or commented on the card that they contained gxr lens profiles.

U have option to recall from sd card or internal camera storage. U a possible max out strategy even w/o the sd card is use max number for interact card recall and 2 of 3 my settings as permanent. U can just change the third one. This strategy works well when I have two very most used lenses that can stay in two my locations and just need to change the third one.

It is more than just the EXIF data. The lens correction info and min. Shutters speed, etc is also saved.

It is a great camera. U are going to have fun with the legacy lenses. I only wish they would do an a16 m module.

popflash had an offer a few months back where they lent out the entire kit for free for a week. imo, with m39/m mount lenses, the 12mp IQ blew away any other 16mp mirrorless ive used or seen with the same lenses. i sold my OMD, gave up any thoughts of using the fuji X line for RF legacy glass (though ilove my x100) and immediately bought a gxr kit.

i agree that 16 could be exciting, but i honestly could not be happier with the results i'm seeing.
