Sexiest looking camera?

Yes, I do like the Look of the Original F or F2. But aren't they quite bulky compared to an FM or FE? What's the advantage of these "professional" F models over the compact/budget models that were introduced later?

The F and F2 offer 100% viewfinder coverage, for some this is a huge deal and others don't care. I won't say they're any more reliable, but they are probably going to last longer - especially compared to the FE series.

The size and weight difference is noticeable, but not severe. Overall I think it comes down to if you value a more compact body and built-in meter vs long term reliability and higher build quality. The FM and FE are certainly no slouches, but the F and F2 are nicer in the hand.

Anyway, a black Nikon SP is definitely the sexiest looking camera.

My FE2's are still going strong, and I feel ashamed that I don't use them much anymore. My F2 still going strong, more shame comes with this too.
My D700 died at most inopportune moment. Unhappy.
Just saying that the "non pro" FE and FM (got one of those too) are just as tough and long lived as pro F2. Later stuff for me has been more variable. Heck, the lowly EM I used for "danger" work with the cheapest lenses I could scrape up, wouldn't die. Don't have that one anymore, I gave it to a student some years ago.

Lets not confuse a thread about sexiness with trivialities like use and features.

That Robot Royal 36 (#185) and the Bronica S2 -- definitely! I just love the styling of the S2/S2A. Never laid eyes on one of the Robots but I think I need one.

For me it's the camera that got me into RF's and this site. Later I learned it's not a true RF but what the hell, the Contax G2. A lovely thing to look at and to hold.
