I can push your chairs along Market and Kearny, but you two are on your own on Sutter and Post.
My Lark has a jump seat if Robert needs a lift.

Sweet ride! Maybe a Hoveround would be better at the parade, turns on a dime.

Loved this shot of Robert by the way!

I've dropped a turbo-charged 2 liter engine in my Hoveround, btw. Mobility should be no problem, but I'm afraid I may have some focusing issues.

Okay, new mods on the loose. Time for the Bay Area group to represent and see what it takes to get a post deleted.

Meeting time/place for Parade?
Meeting time/place for Parade?
Shall we meet at the MoMA cafe or the 4th St Bar and Grill at 3:30 or so? That would give us a chance to BS a bit before heading out to shoot parade preparations.
If you've got a better idea for either time or place, let her rip!

The 4th St Bar was fine last year - but does it have mobility access.
In my box hunting for the P&S challenge, I've found my first digital camera :
A tiny Canon SD10 with 4.0 Mpixels; a fixed 39/2.8 lens and 1.5" LCD. Circa 2003 - It still works !

If nothing else we should do the 4th ST B&G due to their extraordinary service and friendly staff. Wonderful people at that place. I think the front doors can swing wide so the Lark and Hoveround should have no trouble fitting in.
The SD10, I know it well! Bought one for my GF at the time, tiny little things.
@Steve- We certainly will raise a glass...or two. In my case it will be Diet Coke but the gesture still applies

Wonderful if you like interacting with staff obviously not winning their battle with crank addiction.
Work this weekend is going to keep me away. I hope the parade goer-to-photographer ratio is below 1:1 this year.

Today's the day gang. If you're planning to meet up it's the 4th Street Bar and Grill at 3:30. I'll probably be there closer to 3.

8 rolls of film stuffed into my pockets, G2 in hand. Looks like it will be a windy cool night out there.

Sorry I missed participating, Kent. I had work that took WAY too much time, leaving me grumpy and tired and no beer & gear!! :-(

That was fun and action packed.
Hope you all got a better spot than me.
I was on the wrong side of the vehicle cut in.
It also kinda sucked with the barrier police.
Fortunately by about half way through I managed to get and stay infront of the barriers.
Lots of good camera spotting - several Fuji XPs; many Leicas and a Mamiya 7.

Donald- Well as usual we all scattered when the shooting started. Fun time as always though!

You mean to say there are times when you are not grumpy and tired?
Looking forward to pics Kent and Donald!
