Just to show that my light-leaky FED isn't always leaky. I had a great time with it on a rainy day in SF. All shot with Kodak Tri-X 400:

It's a great, sturdy little camera and I love it. People also don't often notice I'm shooting because it's small and quiet. I can see what the fuss is all about!

Nice. I'm glad somebody was out shooting during that wet spell! :) What lens?

Thanks, Ray! And you know with a new camera, no weather can keep you from using it. :D

I just have the base lens, Industar-26M. Been reading a lot about lenses lately and there's a lot of info out there.

I like these shots. Thanks for letting us see them. I'm glad you are enjoying a FED-2. I must get myself one soon.

Thanks! Looking back at the pics I've taken with this camera, I think that this is the best set. I took it out again in good (sunny) weather over the weekend and even though I had every seam on the body taped up with electrical tape, I still had major light leaks on about 1/2 the frames. :(

I'm no engineer and I'm the opposite of crafty, so I'm running out of ideas on where the leak is coming from. The FED2 may just be relegated to a "rainy day friend" if I can't figure this out.

You'll have to bring along your Fed and meet some of the local RFF crew at our next meeting/outing. Everyone but Mike is well worth meeting. ;-)
