I noticed one day that my Zorki-4's view finder mirror is shaking once I tilt the camera. The whole image shakes like being blown by the wind.
Anyone knows what happened and how to fix this? :(

Thank you very much.

This is not a fault. I had the same issue with two Zorki 4K's. It is probably due to the manufacture quality drop in the 70's.

What is it's Serial Number?

PS. If you are insisting to fix it you should remove the top cover and fix stable the glass element (magnifying glass) that is moved inside by the diopter lever from outside.

Thanks for the reply, gmail. My Zorki-4's serial #58xxxxx, I presumed it's made in 1958. I was afraid it's getting to banged up in my back pack. Some how the shaking problem is not really constant so I will let it go for now.

Do you mean the view through the eyepiece moves? Mine does, it's fairly stable until I press the shutter button, then it jumps off a little.
If so, this can be caused by the small lens inside the vf, used for dioptre adjustment. It's connected to the lever.
I would think that this could be tightened or damped quite easily once the top is off. Very slight adjustment of the shell which holds it may cure it.
