I seldom post my link to any of my work, I figure if you are curious you would see the links as part of my signature. I have been working on this website for the past year now; it is still a work in progress, and I will be updating it when I have the opprotunity to do so.

Constructive feedback is always welcome.

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

I think the photos are really, really good - especially the ones from Louisiana. Not sure how to describe it, but when looking at the images I get the feeling that I am communicating with the people, and not merely looking at a photo... The only thing that puzzles me is the different size of the images when the mouse is held over the keywords; maybe you should have the same image size for all keywords? In particular the size and position of the image for the "Spirited away" series seems a bit odd.

I love the home page layout. The navigation links are fun how you laid them out. Poloroid moments are just too cool. You did a great job. Bookmarked it now.

I feel an improvement over your previous home page....in comparison, previously the up front stair step photo tended toward convexity in it's blur, which, in my view acted as a 'barrier' to further entry....this new homepage is inviting, permitting entry into a deeper view...

First, I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to view my website and offer their opinions; I really appreciate it.

Rune: Thank you for the comments about the series from Carville, that feedback is quite valuable to me, and makes feel like I did good job in trying to remove myself as I was trying to tell their story. A side note; I spent more talking to all of these people than I did photographing them, maybe this helped.

Also, thank you for your comments about the key images in the Homepage. I was choosing that I thought would best represent the story, instead of them being consistent size. I did select other images that would fit the homepage, but I did not think they would work as well. I am wondering if this bothers anyone else?

In Spirited Away, I am using two different camera formats 35mm and 6x6, and I felt the images worked, but maybe not. I also wondering if the different format sizes bothers anyone else? I might then puttogether an edit with just the 6x6 format--it is so difficult sometimes since I like some of the 35mm format images as well.

Rodney: Thank you very much for looking at my website previously. I was surprised by your response, since I did not expect anyone to know what image was there before. Also, in the back of my mind, I was wondering if this improvement would be more inviting to further investigate the work or if would be a henderance. You seemed to have answered my question.

WBlanchard: Thank you for bookmarking my site, I appreciate it.

Rob: Also thanks for your comments.

Again, thank your comments.

Thomas
