Shanghai 4" x 5"

Has anybody had any experience using this film, or has anybody seen the results. I will be doing a 4" x 5" portrait project for college soon, so I need to source some film, and this stuff is very well priced.

Any input would be much appreciated.

I have used Shanghai 120 film for sometime and I like it, alltough im not an expert. I dont think that their LF film will be bad, its worth a chance

I would not commit a project to any film that I have not tested or has an impeccable reputation. I have considered getting some of the Shanghai 4x5 myself, but I would test before I used it for something important or serious.

If you get some to test and find a problem, will you have time to get something else, such as FP4+, Plus-X or Tri-X? If not, then don't bother.

Also, if you can't afford to replace a bad batch with something known to be good, don't waste your money.
