The lens did not belong to me. I did some 50mm lens comparisons. Someone at RFF sent me the lens and a Canon 7.

yes, the TV version is specially made for movie camera
thats why they didn't add in the rangefinder coupling for it
but you can get it convert to M mount and add the rangefinder coupling😎

As sircool noted, yes. I had mine converted by Ken Ruth, who actually glued a little "nub" onto the rear element to serve as the rangefinder cam. Of course he also modified the lens mount so the lens will fit on a Leica M. Works great.

actually the canon have the unique canon glow
some people like it, some people don't
but the noct really nice 😀

Not a level playing field!! Ricoh GXR w/M mount module vs Leica Monochrom.
I have to show pics with MM and Dream lens and GXR with Noctilux!!
But the dream lens does punch above it's weight....

Where are you at? If you're in the U.S., Ken Ruth (Photography on Bald Mountain) did mine for $350.00. DAG (Donald Goldberg) can do it too. Not sure of his price though.

Im from malaysia, very far far away, haha
sadly, no one in my country know how to do the conversion
was thinking to do it myself, but need to find some tools before can start doing it…lol
who knows i might become the 1st one who can do the conversion in my country…lolzzzzzzzzz
