I find auto-correction of the white-balance really kills the great colors on many of my R-D1 shots. so I simply don't use it, except for B/W images.
Some great car shots TVR. I missed an Old-timer show in my town a few weeks ago
Should be another one in the next couple of weeks though.

Little too noisy for my taste....the image, not the band

I too read a lot about the auto white balance being rather iffy on the R-D1. But I never ever shot anything but auto, and very seldomly did I correct it in post processing. The Epson firmware is a masterpiece in my opinion.
same here, it's impressive! spot on 94.27% of the time.

Thanks Flibble.
few more for today - both taken with the Nokton 50mm as well. (ISO 1600)
I was invited to poker on weekend one month ago , I cant remember
I went all in with 94 or something similar and lost
However after that I doubled up with KK.
(Dont ask me more, poker and alcohol doesnt fit together
- we had fun)
The Nokton is really a nice lens have to say - however I have sometimes really problems with the 1m min. distance you have to keep. I am looking forward for the new 35mm ASPHII Nokton.
Friend of my was thinking about how to create a "perfect SimSeat" for IRacing.

Marcelo - that one of the girls kicking the football makes me want to get one of these - and that lens!
You may not believe this, but shot #4 of the little kid in the pink outfit looks just like a scene in an Aussie backyard.

My brother wanted some pictures of his bike so I naturally had the R-D1 on me with an ND8 filter:

Great Bike! I really like these old Cosmics together with the Campa gear! Congrats to your brother (and of course to you for the pictures
Are there any other pictures of this beauty somewhere in the web?

Great shots everyone. I am enjoying the black and white. We all know how well the R-d1 renders color, but its nice to see how it handles B&W (pretty good if you ask me, though biased
)
I like how the colors came out on this one, very little touch ups:
