Great images everyone. What's not to like about this camera?
Rick, I think you will find that you'll love the 21 on the R-D1, just as I do.

Thanks. This is the Hai Van Pass aka 'Col des Nuages' in-between the cities of Da Nang and Hue, Vietnam. The view is over the South China Sea with Da Nang in the background.

Folks, I have a very interesting question for a Voigtlander 15mm SWH (second version) owners) Does anybody notice that this lens is not coupling image from 0.7 (0.6) to its minimal focusing distance - 0.5m? Or I'm only one - who found this "issue"? Just today, when I was shooting around my town with this lens I notice, that the image in viewfinder stops coupling on aprox. 0.65m and then focusing ring is going until the end (0.5m) without any result. I never notice this thing before (I have this lens 4 month already) and I really start to worry. After I come to an official Voigtlander web site - to write a claim to support (actually I did it)), but occasionally found next information in this lens description: "Rangefinder coupling ~ 0,7m (depends on camera body)". So it not an issue? It's normal thing? Decide to write here - to double check with you, guys)

As written on the box :)
Rangefinder coupling until 0.7m (except if the camera only measure until 1m)
For 0.5~0.7m you're on your own
It's like that on the 12 UWH

Interesting, never occured to me that RF focusing could be limited that way, but it's a kinda logical possibility if you think about it. Heck my Speed Graphic has the same thing once you go beyond the movement of the RF-cam.

From last weekend (R-D1 with Voightlander 35mm f/1.7 Ultron)

I guess next time I should just shoot JPG. Converting ERF to JPG doesn't give enough punch with my current experience level.

So tomorrow, the Muslim will celebrate their version of commemorating the Binding of Isaac and like the Eid, there will be partying at the night.
The city government closed the main street for parade with 1000 drums (doesn't count) and it sounds like roaring of storm because despite the comitee's request to calm down before the parade starts, everyone enjoys beating their drums

On a sad note, I noticed that I got more pics of them playing with torches rather than beating drums -_-;

beautiful images! Regarding shooting JPG vs RAW, I say shoot RAW and then try adding some more contrast on post, the files handle better. I don't take more than a minute editing raw files usually, and it makes quite a difference.
