I used to shoot a lot of live shows with my DSLR, it was actually a “focal point” of my photography, not that I considered myself much good at it (even though couple of times someone though I was and published my photos).
After a few years I gave up on shooting live shows. It’s not something I make a living with and I felt I squeezed the most fun out of it and decided to just enjoy the music instead of shoving my way around the crowds for a better vantage point.
But I do still take occasional snapshots with my analogue gear (all digital gear is long disposed of). I usually end up with extremely low ratio of keepers, but then again, I mostly bring the compact Rollei 35 along and guesso-meter, guesso-focus.
Here’re some shots I’ve taken with analogue gear. These are nothing special, but just to get the thread started…
Please post your live shows (analogue only please) and let us know gear/film and hopefully the name of the band and the location/venue.

Too long ago, don't remember the gear. As a matter of fact I'll need to rescan the negs since this is just a crappy print scan)

Other analogue shots are too embarrassing to show 😀 I think I’ve been too careless once I’ve decided I won’t do “serious” live photography any more. That needs to be corrected so I’ll start bringing a rangefinder to all the shows again and pay attention how I shoot.
