This is what i go by most days
(got this from one of the threads here)

At ISO 400 so 1/250 unless otherwise noted...

f/16 - full sun (sharp shadow)

f/11 - bright overcast or regular day (soft edged shadow)

f/8 - overcast (indistinct shadow)

f/5.6 - heavy overcast (no shadow)

f/5.6 - your subject is in shade

f/4 - sunset

f/4 - bright flourescent (1/60)

f/4 - subject in window light (1/60)

f/2.8 - subject in brightly lit room (1/30)

f/2 - bright streetlight at night (1/30)

f/2 - stage lighting (1/60)

I know you can work this out from the sunny 16 rule but since there can be a few combinations, why not share yours =D

mabelsound: Couldn't remember who i got that from thus i ommited the credit... but thanks!!! It's been very helpful. I shoot XP2 most days and i prefer the image a tad over exposed and the guide works well =D

OK, if I could find one of those with three more stops added, I would print it out on sticky paper and stick it right on my M2, over the dremeled name of its previous owner. That's perfect.

hahahahaha
I hate personal etching devices. Can't people just keep a record of serial numbers.

I wear one.
