Leica LTM Sharkskin?

My IIIc has sharkskin vulcanite. Does anybody know if this is the common covering for IIIcs or that most IIIcs have the "regular" vulcanite?

It's less common I think.. but only collectors care. For a camera you're going to use, most users won't worry which vulcanite it has, long as it is in tact

My IIc is sharkskin as well... and personally, i disagree w/ ash... the sharkskin feels much more stable/grippy in my hand then the regular vulcanite does.

i have a III c in sharkskin , and one in regular - the sharskin is much better .
