I'm trying to adjust focus on one of my lenses by adding a shim.
And i was wondering what's the easiest way to make one?

I have rolls of .001 and .002" brass shim stock-- bought from a hardware store.

There is even a slightly easier one - go to the supermarket and buy one of those aluminium throw away roasting pans. Cost a couple of bucks. The metal in them is quite robust but is soft enough to be cut with ordinary scissors.
