Shipping an Epson with Ink in it?

I have an Epson R3000 that I will be selling next month. Am I better off removing the ink carts and taping the ports closed? Or should I just leave everything in place and mark the box "This end up"?

I am kind of thinking this may be restricted to a local Craigslist deal given the hassles of shipping. Basically I don't want it to clog up or spill for the next person who owns it.

I don't know about the R3000 but some of their models definitely did not like being moved. See this page on moving the Pro7500
