Shipping and Taxes from Popflash.photo to Canada

Hello fellow Canadians, I am thinking of getting a Ricoh GRD III from popflash photo because of the lack of Ricoh presence here in Canada. I am debating whether to get a used $350 one or brand new at $399 and I am leaning towards the new one. While shipping charges are no problem (I plan on using USPS), I am worried about the taxes that might be charged by Canadian customs.

Does anyone have any experience with the customs or taxes from new cameras in the US? Thanks.

In the worst scenario you'll get dinged for GST and Provincial sales tax. There's no duty on cameras. I've bought both a GRD2 and GRD3 from Popflash. They are a pleasure to deal with, and I would have no hesitation buying from them again.
