Hey all. I'm shooting an anti olympics demonstration, and I need help on cam/lens choice. I'd rather not carry 2 bodies, especially considering I only have one strap. I'm debating between a Leica with 15mm lens(which I'm a bit worried about, it's all mechanical and it's cold today - ive never tried it in the cold) and a Nikon F5 with 28mm.

What do you think would be a better camera, and especially lens choice for today?

Either camera can handle the cold. Keep the F5 on a strap and put the Leica in your coat pocket. Done and done.

What is an anti olympics demonstration? Does that require something different from a pro Olympics demonstration?

I guess not, maybe I should have said simply; demonstration.

Regarding the Olympus comment - I do have a olympus digital that I carry everywhere, which I'll probably be bringing.

- then use that...and whatever else YOU are comfortable with! - because it's probably not what WE would be comfortable with! :)

It's a tiny point and shoot! :) I think i've narrowed it down to the leica, and bringing a borrowed DSLR to act as a high volume cam and lightmeter.

Stick with the Leica. The F5 will only weigh you down when you have to make a run for it, and you'll have better situational awareness with a RF. And with the 15, you won't have to worry about focusing.
