Shooting and problems with Leica Elmarit 90mm 2.8

Shooting for the first time this afternoon with my well beloved Elmarit 90mm and my newly bought RD-1. Just found that I could not get infinity and that the lens seems to be out of control with the rangefinder. When I get back to the Voigtlander 40mm 1.4, everything is back in order. What's wrong with my Leica Lens or with the camera itself?

Check for anything on the back of the lens that might be interfering mechanically with the RF coupling arm inside the top of the camera's lens mount. Seems as if I've read other posts here saying that this particular lens sometimes doesn't match up well with Cosina-derived cameras (a group which includes the R-D 1.)

Nothing wrong with the lens itself. And it was perfect with my R3A backup body. Could it be the RD1 then? Strange...
