Shooting Clothing (flats)

I have to shoot a catalog that requires a bunch of flat images. The client wants them done like this brand:

Obviously I am going to be spending a fair amount of time in photoshop. But my question is how do u think they setup each shot. It looks like they may have used a thin wire hanger, and then edited that out. But the jackets and shirts look like they have some volume to them. Do u think they stuff them, or is there some sort of form I can get to fill the bodies out.

it appears the shirts and sweaters are hanging or pinned up, with long sleeves pinned to the proper aesthetic position, I say this because that volume you speak of appears to be the natural cause of gravity (the wavy ripples in the shirts). perhaps the volume seen in some of the jackets is a bit of tissue but I think you'll find gravity to be of great help here. As for pants it might be a lot of work to photoshop out pant hangers so I would consider careful strategic placement of pins to hang the pants or perhaps shooting down on them. Other than that, get your lighting right and the rest will be easy

The best way to make money is to hire a stylist who will know how to set up the clothing. Then the photographer can deal with lighting and other technical issues.
