As a non-Chinese in China, I sometimes find myself quickly picked out in a crowd as an outsider or tourist. With a camera around my neck, these are a given. This can make photos of individuals a real challenge. Sometimes I will shoot without raising the camera to my eye for compostion, and even guess at the focus ahead of time, and then try to capture the subject at the right moment and place.

With my M8, my aim is not much good with anything longer than my 50mm. But still, occasionally, I like the results. I thought that some of you pros and amatures like me, may also have many similar compsitions with good results. Here is a recent shot on-board a local Chinese airline flight to Shanghai.

Non-Coded 50 mm Summicron, wide open, while waiting for my peanuts and water.
