The Coastal Commission is now accepting entries for the 7th annual amateur photography competition.
The Coastal Commission is seeking photographs that depict the coast and its myriad landscapes, resources and uses. Entrants are encouraged to submit photos of the following subjects:
the scenic coast;
ways people use the coast;
or coastal wildlife.
Photographs must be in color and taken from a public place. Photos of marine mammals must be taken at a minimum distance of 50 yards away to avoid illegal disturbance or harassment. Plants and animals depicted should be native species in their natural setting. Photographers will retain copyright to their photographs. Photographer credit will be given for every reproduction that is published by the Coastal Commission.
