Shortcut to FORMAT?

I re-format my SD cards pretty often and find it a nuisance to go into the menus to do that. For some reason, after I format the card in slot one, I am forced to go back to the beginning of the menu and then to format for slot 2. There must be an easier way?

On the XPro2 you press and hold down the trash button for 3 seconds then press in the rear command dial. That pops up the format menu.

Those who use Macs should never format a SDHC card for a Fujifilm camera using OS X. The 'invisible' OS X Folder file crashes Fujifilm's in-camera firmware.

With OS X only format in-camera.

It does a better job of formatting cards than macOS, Windows, or the in-camera firmware.

Why use this software instead of doing it in-camera?

SDFormatter does a cleaner job than most in-camera formatting algorithms, adhering strictly to the Secure Digital organization guidelines for flash card volumes.

I've found that cards formatted with it tend to show faster camera startup times and shorter inter-frame blackout times on several cameras (Leica SL, Leica M, Ricoh GXR, Nikon D750, and Olympus E-M1 are the ones I've tested). The differences are small but clearly noticeable.
