Should a Hasselblad be Black or Silver?

We've seen how people feel about M bodies, now what about hasselblads?

Post pictures tp back your point while we're all here :)
 
I'd say chrome, both for Leicas and Hasselblads.

Unfortunately, I have a black M6 and no photos of my 500C/M. I can live with the black Leica but I wish I had more time to use my Hasselblad. So many wishes, so little time... :(

I prefer well brassed black Leicas but pristine chrome Hasselblads. I also thing Nikon dslrs are prettier than Canons, but none of the new cameras looks come close to the cameras of 25 or more years ago.

And yes, as the food provider of a black and white one, black cats rule, white cats drool.
 
Both my 500C and 500CM's are chrome. But only because that was what was offered to me in a kit as a great price. It they were black I still would have taken them.

Looking forward to seeing what you get from your "new" Hassy, Carl.
 
Oskar Barnak and Victor Hasselblad were in Tibet those 20 odd years before they discovered the plans for their cameras in that cave in the mountains around Lhasa.

It is known by very few that during a time of contemplation they both understood spontaneously that the chrome body was best, as the reflective quality of the chrome affected the photon molecules in the surrounding area thus affecting the quality of the picture.

To those who know, this effect is quite obvious. Those who don't are doomed to use the lesser cameras, often digital ones which are often black.
 
I think the chrome 'blads are classy. I know there's no functional difference, but I do have an art degree, so I tend to go for looks when I can.

I don't have any pictures of my C/M, as I sold awhile back. It was chrome with matching chrome 80. Nice camera, just not for me.

I used to prefer chrome ones but then I was offered a black one at a great price and I took it. Now I really prefer the black ones. Shiny new chrome Hasselblads are nice but the black ones age much better.

At the moment I'm using a Hasselblad which is black but has a chrome waist level finder. I intend to buy a black finder one day but have a hard time convincing myself to spend $120 just so my camera looks prettier.

I have two chrome ELM's, and two chrome CM's.
All of my lenses are '70's vintage black T*. I have the 50, 60, 80, 100, 120, 150, 250 & 350.
I did give it some thought, before deciding on this combination of finishes.

My new M2 is also chrome. But all of my CV lenses are black. Same with my Russian L39 lenses.
Kinda similar decision for me.
