Should I stay or should I go

Geert, don't worry: I'll keep you posted with the new pics I take with it. It is in very good hands, don't you worry about it ;)

It's coming with me on a 10-day trip to Southern India on Sunday, along with a Mamiya 6 and a Yashica T4, and most likely about 50 rolls of film.

How much of an issue did you find with the white spots? I got a roll of B&W and a roll of slide developed and put on CD, and so far have only noticed an ever so slight loss of contrast at the edges of shots taken with the 28mm.

My CLE has a new owner from HongKong
I wish him many good pictures with it.

case closed, thanks for all the replies, if I ever regret, I will be back on this forum

regards
Geert

Hi Jonathan

Hi Jonathan

In fact I did not have any problems with the spots, but it is better to have them removed, because they are only on the outside.
To keep the lens in perfect shape I would consider a treatment

and have fun in India

I still have the Nikon with a complete set of quality lenses. I saw this CLE set and could not resist it, so I went to the nearest cash point and bought it.
So I'm back, and are using film again. Let's see how long the love will last.

They are not going for top dollar here now. I can attest to that from a recent sale. They are a superb little alternative to the larger/ heavier Ms.

Is anyone looking to sell one out there? I'd be interested in getting one (camera only or camera + 40mm). If not here, where could I look? I know KEH and only recently learned about Igor's camera exchange, which makes me wonder if there are other places I'm not aware of.

Thanks
