Joisey. You got a problem with that?
Hey all.
Bought the R3A for the 40mm frames since I shoot that Summicron-C 40/2 a lot. I absolutely love the camera, but I have been shooting the 28 Rokkor and the CV 25mm a lot more lately. Everyone I'm sure knows the 40mm frame fills the VF in the R3A, and I positively dislike using accessory viewfinders.

So, would I be better off getting an R2A and using the whole VF as an approximation of 28mm? And I could always guesstimate the 35mm frames for 40mm?

Thanks!
George

George. If you in the future will buy a tele lens. Dont trade the R3A. One 28 mm its nice with one viewfinder, and its easy to use the hyperfocal focus. But if you trade your Bessa for the R2A, in the future, when you use teles, the lines of the viewfinder appear tiny. And difficult to compose. But... its your decision, I dont trade the camera. Remember that Cosina dont sell one mag. viewfinder like Leica...

Thanks guys. i know there's no perfect solution, and was/am a bit befuddled, that's why I need your input. I should have said I also have the CV 75mm and the 90/4 Elmar-C, and also do use them, and also have and love a Leica CL. So, I could always put the 28 on the CL and use the entire VF area.
Joe, you made me think with your 'right to the point' observation.

If you are using the 75 and 90, you should probably stick with the R3A - it excels with longer lenses, as you probably know. I love my R3A and really don't mind using an accessory finder for my wide lenses.
