Shoulder bag suggestions.

I don't know if you want to go cheap but here's an idea. A cheap laptop satchel I found recently at Ikea for $9.99. Approximate dimensions 14"W x 10.5"H x 3.5"D. It's lightly padded all around and ballistic nylon material and comes with two padded pouches that can fit a typical RF. The second picture is the interior with a Domke F803 insert. I may add some padding at the bottom for added cushion and there's no grab handle.

I use the Domke F3 bag for my G2 kit. I recommend it highly, but do suggest that you supplement the bag with some little pouches for extra protection for your lenses. Zing make great small neoprene pouches that would do the trick nicely.

i use an army surplus bag that i padded myself...it holds a TLR and my gsn (or gsn and canonet, or any combo) as well as a light meter (my huge luna) and at least 5 rolls of film, lens hood, filters and my wallet...

it also has wicked cool points and street cred 🙂

I have one of the lovely Safrotto bags and it's roomy, but also heavy. I find myself using my older Lowepro Nova 2 bag more than any of my other bags, and it's one of least expensive ones I own. It's a nice smallish bag -- lightweight but strong.

I have a G-1 bag that I purchased for my G2. It takes the camera with lerns in place, and has ajacent pockets for two more lenses (total of 3) plus a lower velcro'd flap with easily accessible compartments for the flash, filters, lens hoods, etc. It is small, light and in made of very soft high grade brown leather with a velvet lining inside. Very classy and it does the job nicely.

An excellent RF shoulder bag with lots of pockets, very well made and doesn't particularly look like a camera bag. It holds a body, 2-3 lenses, film, etc and fits close to your body.

I currently use a Crumpler 15 Love (link) for my 35mm SLR gear. It holds a body plus several lenses. I've been looking into the Domke line, but they are pricey. The Safrotto looks like a good alternative, but I can't seem to find a distributor in the US.

I'm currently looking for something that holds a 12" laptop, body, 2 lenses and film without being too big.

the Safrotto looks to be a knock-off of the Domke. Ebay is the only place that I have seen the Safrotto,

the Domke 802 will fit the bill, Safrotto has a model [at least on ebay] that is marketed as "like the Domke 802" http://tinyurl.com/8rwyd

I have a Billingham "Alice" which I paid WAY too much for, and a Domke F3 which finally, after 13 years, is worn enough to have a touch of character, but Chris has the best idea--surplus--the real deal, that is, not the "Made in China" repros.

My personal favorite is only large enough for a camera/lens combo--it's a canteen bag, made by W. L. Dumas Co. in 1943, and it will outlast me by centuries.

turned up lots of nice smaller bags, many in the $10-20 range.

I use a lowepro minitrekker for my SLR gear, but when I bought my hexar kit I wanted something smaller with a shoulder strap - I was using my crumpler laptop bag initially but then went to their '6 million dollar home' - cool, well padded, easily configurable, enough extra pockets. I use it daily as it carries hexar + lens or two, flash, phone, wallet, pens, film, sunglasses, wallet and isn't too bulky.

I recommend the Domke F3 canvas bag highly for you G2 kit. Very light, comfortable to carry, with plenty of room for your gear.
