As I was walking toward Yamashita Park I spotted another Toyota Sport 800.
This is strange, most people never see one Sport 800 in their lifetime and I've just seen two in one day... very peculiar!

Wow, that's crazy. I can only guess that there was some sort of nearby get-together for Sports 800 enthusiasts that took place that day.As I was walking toward Yamashita Park I spotted another Toyota Sport 800.

Is this a classic? It has round headlights and a chrome bumper.
What more does a vehicle need to be a classic?

I was almost at the train station when I spotted this terrific little British MGB sports car.
BTW, this will be my last entry in this thread. It might be time to start a new thread for true vintage cars - real classics!

Mike, thanks for an enjoyable thread (and other contributors too!).
Looking forward to the new thread though there is an old debate about what is classified as 'vintage'. Should be fun.
The old way of looking at this in the UK was something like this (I think):
Up to 1905 veteran
1905 1920 Edwardian
1920 - 1930 vintage
1930 - ? post vintage thoroughbred
It matters not. There are some fabulous cars in Japan, I look forward to seeing some.

In Sweden it seems all vehicles over 30 years old are called veteran vehicles.
Thank you Yokosuka_Mike and all others for good pictures of older cars. Why not continue posting them here, too?
Cheers,
Anders
