Lovely East German combination Tom. We can nearly hear the typical 2 stroke sound of these machines, and smell the smoke too...
Here's an old rather decrepit Vespa 2 stroker with its two wheeled brothers.

Zandvoort, Holland. Citroen 2 CV with the "extended" trunk. Always reminds me of a coal 'shuttle" with its top-loading!

I like the "barn find" look of the Vespa car!

That "boot extension" was a stock option and converted the Citroen 2CV to sleep two comfortably on the road camping, utilizing the fold down seats and full length of the car interior.

Those owners who know and love 2CV's often belong to a society called "Tinsnails".

A bit of a rarity - Wartburg Tourist. Interesting wrap-around roof windows in the back - and also a sunroof over the back part. It is a 2 stroke engine - but for some reason it was a very well balance one and did run smooth.Unfortunately the acrylic windows in the back and the sunroof leaked and most of these have been reduced to chunks of rust.
