I am cheating. Just bought this used, a 2021 VW GLI with a six speed. Took me forever to find one. Has 4500 miles on it.

Yes you are! But, that's okay. I have some VW pictures from today that will get this thread back on track.

Over the years I've owned some fun vehicles. The old series LandRovers were one of the more memorable. Slow, rough riding, not fuel efficient, but very reliable. For many years I used them to get close to out of the way places in the Eastern Rockies. I didn't want to carry large format gear any farther than needed. Here's a few Landies in their element.... The second photo was a friend in his Rover who was very glad I was there and had a winch. The last photo was the same friend, he'd just gotten my first LandRover stuck in snow and had to dig it out as I took photos. That incident prompted me to install a winch.

Here's a follow-up for you, though in a far different setting (as seen in Gig Harbor, Washington).
(NOTE: This was taken with my Minolta CLE and Ektachrome. Though the transparency itself looks wonderful, I'm just not able to do it justice using my Nikon Super Coolscan 4000 ED and Affinity Photo. While it seems that the Nikon scanner does have its limitations when it comes to capturing shadow details, I really need to invest more of my time to figure out how to do a better job with it. In addition, though I had been a longtime Photoshop user both at home and in the workplace, after Adobe went to the subscription-only model I decided to jump ship. I've yet to make my peace with Affinity Photo and as with the scanner, I'm simply am not giving the software the sort of time the learning curve requires of me.)
