Show me your coastal landscapes with 35 and 50 mm lenses

I'm considering using my Bessa R with 35 and 50 lenses for an upcoming Oregon coast trip, but am worried that they might be too limiting. I am expecting to shoot pics of the beach and lighthouses. I will have my digicam for close-up stuff like tide pool photos.

It's either that or leave the digi and RF at home, and bring my SLR and lenses.

So show me what you've done with 35 and 50 at the beach!

Here are some seascape photos from California and Oregon with 35-50mm lenses.

To Richard: Show off!

Actually, great photos Rich! After looking at yours, I decided not to post any of mine. They look real crap compared to yours.

Oh c'mon mate, take the train out to Elsternwick (the Sandringham line) and take some shots out at Elwood beach will ya? :) Or snap some penguins out at St Kilda Beach (same line, different stop (Balaclava?)

Hey Rich, you know Melbourne pretty well. Did you stay for quite long in Melbourne? I live very close to St. Kilda Beach actually, just 20 minutes walk. Unfortunately there is no penguins at St. Kilda Beach or maybe there are few but rarely seen. Several times I stayed till dark on the breakwater to spot them but have never seen any to date.

I'll post just one of my latest pathetic shots.

Actually stayed in Gordon (Sydney 'burb) for some time and just visited Melbourne for about two weeks :)

Great cities, great country, great people.

I just posted some on the photo.net version of this thread, but here is a different version of one I posted. This was with the mamiya 7II, and I think the 80mm, which is more like a 40mm lens. So basically irrelevant to this discussion...oh well.

Great shots! Richard I particularly like the one of the bridge!! Was there a filter on the lens for that one? Was wondering how you got the contrast between the bridge and the logs protruding from the water in the foreground...

And one more, darn it's either the 2.5/50mm or the 2.5/35mm but I actually am still having trouble telling the difference!

Wow, some great responses! Thanks, guys (and keep 'em coming)!

Rich, I also like that bridge-in-fog photo, but photo #3...that looks longer than a 50mm. The perspective looks too flattened.
