Congrats! Nice print.

About the vignetting: maybe the lens used is of a too short focal length. I do not know what kind of enlarger you use. So called "universal" enlargers (they can handle both 35mm and 6x9cm) often need a 75mm or 80mm lens. A 50mm lens will cause vignetting.

It can also be the lamp of the enlarger. Usually the lamp can be raised or lowered to produce an even illumination of the projected image.

Erik.

Thanks Erik,

It is a rollei rolleimat universal enlarger. I have a 6-elements Rokkor lens 50mm f/2.8. I suspect the condenser is not the right one, it is the one for medium format.

BTW, I use my medium format condenser with 35mm. I use a 80mm Rodagon lens for everything. I only vignette when I try to use my 50mm and print medium format.

Looks like your next purchase is gonna be a nice easel!

This works quite well actually when I pay attention and put the paper properly (beer consumption can make it more difficult).
I managed to find a condenser for 35mm for £20 and bought it. I like using the Rokkor 50 f/2.8 lens to print.

Good, no vignetting on the print. Lovely shot, btw.

I'm too busy with work all the time, so no prints from me.

No beer, drugs or cigarettes allowed in the darkroom.

I love the picture by ultra8. Wonderful that the lightest part of picture is the sail of the boat, wich gets all the attention, but then the eye is caught by those terrifying clouds. Impressive.

That tiny uncoated 1933 Elmar 3.5cm test shot Tri-X (pyrocat HD) Ilford Classic FB in LPD. What a delightful and tiny lens. I've used summicrons for decades, & had a summilux for a while. currently also have a 2.8 summaron LTM on my M4. This one definitely has a place. 2 test rolls (FP4 & Tri-X)...sure doesn't appear to have any haze.
