I inherited a mostly complete, basic darkroom setup about a year ago. This week I finally had the time and space to set it up. Here are a few hits and misses from my first afternoon.
Things went okay, but there were a few issues. One was some yellowing on the prints, which a search suggests is the result of incomplete rinsing? The other is the white spots in the corner of the prints. I think something must be misaligned or knocked loose in the enlarger and is blocking light? Need to investigate further.
But overall it was a great experience. I thank this thread especially for giving the motivation to give this a try!
