I really hate it that there is no Adox anymore. I don't think we'll see it back soon.
Why I liked it, apart from its pictorial qualities, was the fact that you could dry it on a hot press. Not so with Ilford. The gelatine melts. Even only 30 degrees C. is too hot for this stuff.

I am pretty sure they will figure out a way to proceed with production. The problem is that the prices will increase, probably substantially. I assume that the problem is still the supply of the paper base.

Marty in 2018 they acquired a factory in Switzerland, and in 2017 announced building a new facility in Germany https://www.diyphotography.net/adox-building-new-factory-produce-photographic-film-paper-chemicals/.
But now there has been a long gap in availability.....

Adox bought the base from Ilford, but Ilford was able to raise the price now that Britain is no longer part of the EU.
If the Adox paper comes back, it will be more expensive than Ilford, to everyone's sorrow.

Yes, that’s what Mirko told me. I assume the price is viewed as a barrier by Adox (almost all their papers are out of stock) or area Ilford also delaying supply?
The photo of the geese is lovely Erik. It looks like it could be a hundred years ago.

I have been messing around with half frame cameras lately just for a change. Well, by lately I mean before the pandemic. Lol. I finally got around to printing a few last week just to see what they would look like. Nothing fancy, just straight prints. These were shot on either a Canon Demi EE17 or an Olympus Pen FT with a 38. Fomapan 400 or Eastman 5222. Developed in Rodinal.

It is not a shopping mall, but a railway station. Smoking is forbidden, of course. But ladies like this ...

Just saw this - brilliant. I prefer it out of the two geese pictures.
Edit: I see it is sharp from the geese up to all the background. What aperture did you use? Where did you focus?
