Show me your latest darkroom prints

Thank you, Pan, I think I took this one in 2002, I don't know anymore wich aperture I've used. It was very early in the morning, but sunny ... maybe f/9.

Uncoated Hektor 50mm f/2.5, a very nice lens. I still have that one. It was in a small village in Belarus.

Erik, just curious - what enlarger is in your darkroom?

A Focomat IIc, a 1963 model. Very complete with the 35mm carrier, filterdrawer and the large enlargingboard. It can make enlargements up to 50cm x 60cm with automatic focusing. The lenses are the Focotar 60mm f/4.5 and the V-Elmar 100mm f/4.5. I have this enlarger for about twenty years. I also have a Valoy II, but that one sees no use anymore.

Two phone snaps (scanner won't do anything larger than 8x10), 11x11" on 12x16" Ilford MGRC V Satin. Both are split contrast prints, shot on a Rollei MX-EVS, Tri-X 400, developed in Diafine. I find that split contrast works really well with Diafine dev'd Tri-X, especially with the low contrast Tessar found in the Rollei.

4x5 Fuji HRU Mic-X 5 minutes by Nokton48, on Flickr

My first Norma 4x5 photo in twenty five years taken yesterday. Fuji 8x10 HR-U X-Ray cut down to 4x5, Graphmatic Holder, 4x5 Sinar Norma 180mm f5.6 chrome Durst Componon lens, full key sun. This was exposure #6, two stops over ambient reading of grey card EI 50 TTL Sinarsix 1/15 @ Fll. Short development is stock Legacy Mic-X 5 minutes 68F. Cesco flat bottomed 8x10 trays, sheets developed singly. I did a sort of ring-around, varying exposure and development times. This is the lowest contrast version which I like. Very little scratching so I am pleased.

8x10 Arista RC #2 Multigrade dev Omega DII with Omegalite circuline head

Cool thing is this works out to about 7 cents per 4x5 sheet. I may load up the truck 🙂
