Frog Pond, Kingswood Gardens, Mansfield Ohio. Kodak 70mm Surveillance Film, ADOX Borax MQ dev, Hasselblad 500C/M 30mm T* Distagon, Handheld exposure. Arista #2 8x10 Matte RC paper, Multigrade dev. Processed in 70mm Kindermann Dev Tank
Kodak Surveillance reminds me a lot of the older Tri-X emulsion.
The sun was just out of the frame upper left corner. The circular garden works well with the Hassy Fishy lens.
This was a fun shoot!

In 2008, I drove from Chisinau, Moldova to Gomel in Belarussia. Immediately following the Chernobyl disaster, the town suffered from radioactive contamination which, in turn, led to the depopulation of the Gomel region. When I was in the city, it felt abandoned. Not much time to look around: I was there for a meeting and the Belarussians gave me a two-day visa. This shot is from 2005, Belorussia

I was in Stolin in 2003, near the border with Ukrain, for about a week. Nobody talked about the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. The common people are apparently getting used to such disasters and the people in those areas are not getting very old anyway.

I was looking through negatives & found this one i had never printed. Sept. 1990, Photo w a '63 black paint M2 I had bought in a Paris shop the day before. Summicron 35, V4. TMax 400. 11"x14" print on Ilford Classic developed in Formulary Ansco 130. At the time it was just a tourist photo, now it's a historic photo. Very likely we won't see it like this in our lifetimes again...without cranes for restoration

Lovely picture!
This shop, with black paint M2's, was it on the Boulevard Beaumarchais?

Yes it was Erik.... & the camera was in the window display. I was using an M6 at the time but couldn't resist the worn black paint.

Thank you Erik. I'm not sure how i started using Tmax. I can't believe that in the glaring 3:00pm afternoon sun, i could still get detail in the shaded NE facing rockwall.

Do you use an UV-filter? I know that high up there is a lot of UV-light.
