Well I'm still thinking about getting a Bessa T instead of the Leica Cl. I think for the price of the CL body only, i can get the T with a good lens. I 'm looking at the 35/2.5 Color Skopar If you have this lens please post a few pictures so I can see what it looks like.
Thanks

WOW, These are all great shots. We all know it's to photographer and not the equip. But is really great to see what great photographers can do with a great lens. You have helped me make up my mind. I am ordering the Bessa T now and looking for a good priced 35/2.5 Color Skopar Lens
Thanks

All with the Color-Skopar and the M4-2. I think it's kind of a good lens. Altough I'm not sure about the focal length itself, but that's another topic... ; D

Now, if you don't make up your mind soon, we'll show up at your door and beat you up a bit.. :D

Go buy that T and 35.. Oh, and don't forget to get a finder!

Makes me wonder every time a request like this comes up. Would a 800x600 pixel picture "made by lens XXX and/or camera yyy" really mean anything? I could post a picture made from my phone and most people would not realize.

Yes I'm convinced there is much to be seen and qualities assessed with such online photos; tonality, bokeh, linearity, etc as well as the talents of the shooter. The only indeterminate aspect is ultimate sharpness, and 100% crops can give a strong hint of that as well...

Maybe, a little, but tonality is surely far more a product of film/dev/scanning/post processing issues.

Bokeh I think is probably the best use of web images. What do you mean by linearity?

However, by all accounts the Pancake II is a great lens. I am looking to get one at some point for the single carry around lens on my MP. I will use the biogon when I am taking more lenses out and making more of an issue of it, but at half the length, the CV has a lot going for it in that regard.

The tests I have seen online suggest both Cv 35 2.5 variants are very good performers indeed.
