There's loads of nice threads on RFF on 'Show your **********' camera. But, no thread on showing off your Ricoh GXR with M-mount, while you can hook up so many nice lenses to that great little cam!
So I thought I'd better kick a thread off and let people post their Ricoh GXR-M and lens combo's!
Here's mine:
Preferred tool: The Ricoh GXR M-mount with Leitz bayonet adapter and W-Nikkor 1.8/35mm LTM.
The little portrait monster, the 'piccolo M240'

Johan, hello, and let me be the second (no, third) to add something here, since you and I are true believers (though you are a deacon of its church, while I am a poor inconsistent parishioner).
I would like to insert images of my GXR with my favorite little long-throw Serenar 100 3.5, which I used to document this year's Northwest Women Writers Symposium (and to take portraits-in-action of the Dalai Lama, which may be seen in my RFF gallery)--and with the 85 1.9 Serenar, faster but far heavier.
Inexplicably, though, RFF upload is behaving badly today and keeps giving me messages that my text is too long when I insert a JPG--which is nonsense, of course, but a handicap nonetheless.
But if anyone visits http://roberthilllong.tumblr.com today (6/16/13), you can see both images!

Nice stuff, folks.
Call me mad (I know some do!) but I'm thinking the GXR-M will in the years to come reach a status similar to the Epson R-D1. Especially now that the Leica M240 is fitted with an auxiliary viewfinder which will (prediction on my behalf) be used a lot by future M240 shooters.
Imagine M240 users shooting with a Helios 44-M like Rainer's, it would border at heresy
. Us GXR-M shooters, we can fit any lens to that great little cam and be complimented on doing so!

That's a call to arms! I'll go get my Helios 44 and report back from the rose garden later with some psychedelic swirl.

I am getting to like the little GXR. I initially bought it for my son. I thought the focus peaking and live view would make it really easy to explain exposure. Sadly, he is not really interested in photography. I nearly added it to the consignment pile not long ago. Then i went to a workshop where you could try out the line cameras that alot of people rave about. I won't mention the actual name - it might start an argument, but it made me realise how good the GXR is. Here it is with the 60 hex and the 50 summar.

Thanks Johan...this thread makes me want a M-Module
Keep 'em coming!
And if anyone wants to trade his module for the 28mm and 50mm, shoot me a PM
