was given a British-Made MPP 'MICROFLEX' TLR -- the case was all rotten and camera needed a clean -- some covering is loose on the right side . I took off the focus hood and cleaned the mirror inside and what a DIFFERENCE on the brightness of the focussing screen ! Keith at Custom Bellows UK just made this 5x7 Extra Long Norma original bellows pair. I told him I wanted the original Norma pattern but 50% longer than the regular Norma 5x7 bellows. The camera is focused on a target the size of a Norma lensboard. And of course the camera can be infinitely extended if need be
I'm testing portrait lighting I've setup in my studio, inspired by Tim Kelly. 4x5 Ilford HP5+ 520mm f9 Rodenstock Apo Ronar matched pair on Sinar Norma 5x7 TLR reduced to 4x5. I like this but I am still testing and perfecting the lighting I want to use all the time.
Yashica-D with Yashinon and a Yashicaflex new B with Yashikor. Good TLRs with great screens. I prefer using the focus and wind, both on the right hand side of the camera.
