Rolleiflex that I found for a deal on the classifieds with a busted up meter, found the part and it's good to go.

Everything seems to be working OK including the meter needle moves. However, the lens panel is not parallel to the body. As the leatherette is missing from the other side and damaged on this side, surgery is not as daunting as it might otherwisw be.

What are those little holes in the nameplate for? Is there some sort of clip-on accessory designed to go on there?

In bright sun light, the meter is used with the flap closed. I know this for sure as the camera came in its original box together with instruction sheet. However, the meter has lost some sensitivity and is reluctant to operate this way.
