That's an original and very effective portrayal of a lovely camera, Jake. I really like Mamiya TLRs; I think the Mamiya TLR system is brilliant.

PS. By the way, it's great to see someone your age so well grounded in film and here to share the experience with the rest of us.

A birthday gift from a very thoughtful and generous fellow vintage camera enthusiast. Rolleiflex Old Standard type 622. Aside from a stuck shutter, and a little verdigris on the brass bits, she is in very good condition, as is the case. Also included the original lens cap.

Looks like mine when I got it nickthetasmaniac, they have a bright view finder and other than the focus lever are a well built unit . Camera Leather did a new suit of clothes for mine , a good clean of the shutter lenses and mirror box and has never missed a beat

Mine's already had a refurb and a new skin is on it's way from Morgan - should polish up nicely I reckon

Well...this is my first TLR. It was recommended to be by a photographer friend of mine when told him I was thinking about getting a medium format camera. First he offered up his Hasselblad but that's too rich for my blood at this point.
Found this nice example and bought it. Everything works with the exception of the light meter (even with new 1.3 battery). No biggy.
It's fun to shoot with and is a piece of functional art.
