My first TLR... a Yashica 12! Shot a few rolls this weekend and already love it enough that I've started saving for a Rollei 2.8!

Here's my latest acquisition, a 1939 Automat RF111A. This camera ended up being something of a rescue project. I took a risk buying it hoping it was working, but it was DOA. Had it been working it would have been a good deal, but after spending $250 on repairs, I have probably put more into it than it's worth. I'm a bit of a softy when it comes to old cameras and I can't just leave them unworking. It's now fully functional, with good clean lenses. I also have the original Rolleiflex leather case for this camera. Would like to find a period correct one piece lens cap.
I'm part way through the first roll in it, and I'm looking forward to seeing what the uncoated Tessar can do.

Wow, a 635 with the Yashinon lens. That's nice!

I would prefer this or a D to the Yashica-Mat, whose Achilles heel is the wind/cocking mechanism.

Thanks, it took awhile to find one with the Yashinon. I lucked out on this one as it came with the full 35mm adapter kit, was very clean, works great and was inexpensive. I just had to restitch the case. Look for serial #s that start with SX for the Yashinon lens.
