Snagged this Autocord lens hood for $25 including original case. Came with petrified scotch tape around the outside, which will clean up OK.
Recommend this hood, stays where it should, and allows use of all my filters, including my Spiratone B30 ones.

Mamiyaflex C2 - hammer tough
Mamiyaflex C2 - hammer tough
I bought this Mamiyaflex C2 body (without lens) at my local junk yard for $15. It looks like it was used as a hammer. The biggest dent is under the strap attach. There are dents in the back an on the right side. Even the Mamiyaflex panel on the top front is bent. But it still works. The mirror had been replaced with one that is too short. The original was probably broken from the blow that caused the big dent. I put in a new mirror and recovered it. Stay tuned for a group photo with its C220 and C330f siblings.

My Mamiya TLR triumvirate
My Mamiya TLR triumvirate
My junkyard Mamiyaflex C2 now has its new set of clothes from Hugo Studio. As does my C220. It had the gray hard plastic with the little Ms. I disliked the look and feel so it too was recovered. Much better. The leather on the C330f was looking tired but an application of Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP brought it back to life. There were numerous paint scratches that I covered with a touch-up pen of Birchwood Casey Super Black Gloss Black. Highly recommended. Of course a set of gordy straps all around. The lenses, from left to right, 80mm/f2.8, 135mm/f4.5, 55mm/f4.5.

Probably the best workhorses in TLR world - not too expensive yet very capable and well built. Hard to find something better for the money (well there are a few options - and none of them are from Germany).

Great camera - well built, great lens, very nice to use - one of my favorites! (have 2 of these now)

Lots of great ideas in this camera, too bad they stopped making them when they did - very innovative and could have had a great future, but...anyway - I'm glad I have one of these. For sure one great piece of TLR history.
