I went for a walk with my Rolleiflex 2.8F and ran into a bunch of cool guys who were out shooting as a group. The Rollei turned out to be quite a hit with them and they started taking photos of it. Here is one of me taking a photo of them taking a photo of me.
Shot at f/2.8 on Kodak Tri-X @ 400, developed in Rodinal for 7 minutes, scanned with Fujifilm mirrorless camera.

I was out shooting earlier this week and this lady approached me, pointed at the Rolleiflex and said, "that is a camera" or something to that effect. Turns out she is a hobbyist photographer so we talked film and cameras for a bit. I was on my last frame so I asked for a portrait and she kindly agreed.
I am really starting to appreciate the bokeh and vintage rendering of the Planar. Sometimes it's swirly and crazy, other times it's smooth and creamy. Either way, I am really starting to like it.

Nice work, dourbalistar. How do you scan the film rebate? Negative Film Holder or just lay it flat on scanner?

Thank you, flvU3Dp, appreciate the kind words! I use an old Sony NEX-5T on a Leica BEOON copy stand to digitize my negatives. The BEOON gives me flexibility to capture the entire negative, including the rebate for 120. I can also digitize the sprockets for 135 film.

How does Jan like the fact the whole world sees her ironing?
Nice bokeh in the picture, and I would not have guessed this was with a Rolleinar. Doesn't look as close as that. Well done.

This is from a second test film with my restored Rolleicord II Mod. 4, which was in a bad condition. I brought it back to love some months ago and didn’t shoot much with it. Last week I tried it again while a walk over the fields.
I think, it works.
