Every Konica I've owned (T3, T, T2, FT-1, AF, S2, HexarAF) all have a small notch in the film box area a lot like the Hasselblad VV on the left of the prints. The Konica "notch" is in a different area of every body I have.

My "new" old Konica AF has the notch on the right hand side about 1/3 down from the frame. I alway print with "black borders" so I always see it.

I love Konica RF cameras. The first group of such RF cameras seem to be better built than the Konica Auto S, S2 or S3.

I own both, and would keep the M7 if I had to choose...luckily I don't. have to choose! 😛

By that standard, watching Jamie Lee Curtis handle an M6 (and she does know how to handle one...there's footage of it somewhere...might want to check YouTube) is damned close to erotic.

Back when brushed-chrome camera top- and bottom-plates were as de rigueur as chrome bumpers on American cars, an all-black camera was considered "exotic." When I was shopping for my first brand-new 35mm camera, I was ping-ponging between a Nikon FTN Photomic (still current at the time), Nikon F2, Minolta XK, and Canon F-1. Canon decided to offer the F-1 with the "Henry Ford Option", and, interestingly, Minolta followed suit. Nikon charged a premium for a black-finish version of either F body; if you were hankering for a top-end Minolta or Canon and didn't like black, tough darts. Everyone I knew insisted I go with Nikon; being the lifelong contrarian I was, I went with Canon. (Friends had instilled fear in me about the Minolta's "weird" electronically-timed shutter...ah, who knew?)

Silver is elegant, while black is simply a bit more stealth. (For some reason, this puts me in mind of a salacious old saying: Good Girls Go to Heaven; Bad Girls Go Everywhere.)
