...from negatives you developed. Possibly my first roll. These are the oldest negatives that I developed that I can find. Warts & all. University of New Mexico, 1966-1967, Subject unknown.

some nice shots there Venchka, you mean to say you didn't introduce yourself to that stunning girl afterwards (as you would have been in your 20's I guess)

Cool thread! I still have the very first 2 pictures that I printed up (from self-developed film) in my university darkroom, 27 years ago. I'll scan tonight.

I have photos from my grandmother's honeymoon in 1939, she traveled Europe just before the war, some suprisingly good pictures and they aged well. There's a classic with her beside a sea plane in Casablanca. First time I have access to a scanner I'll put them up, I'm a little to young have negatives from way back unfortunately

Very nice thread!

Here's my very first attempt in portrait photography.
From what I recall, I took it with a plastic camera, probably a Diana or alike. The year was 1972. I was 10 years old. I lost the negative; this is a scan from the photo.

I knew her at the time-a friend of a friend. My C.R.S. is acting up something awful right now and I can't remember her name. She did have haunting eyes.

Where are my manners: Thank you!

from my oldest self-developed film. Also the first B&W film I shot. And also the first time I tried street photography. Shot in july 2006

Nice shots manfrohm, keep all your negatives (carefully), shoot a lot, at your age you will get into digital, but keep your film camera and use it. When you get my age you will have a rich history of early 21st century Estonia.

Keep thinking like that. You will be able to get film and chemistry for a long time. If you begin to worry about your film supply, stasha few hundred rolls in your refrigerator. That's what it is for. Food storage is only optional. Film kept cool lasts for decades. Keep shooting!

I purchased a Kodak Brownie Hawkeye camera last week in a thrift store for $2. I bought the camera for the 620 film spools to go into my 4x5 - 620 roll film adapter. Inside I found an exposed roll of Kodak Verichrome Pan 620 film. Developed the roll in Dektol. I suspect the images are from the early 60's. This photo being my favorite.

I have half a roll of Verichrome Pan left to finish in my Brownie Hawkeye. My first camera. It should be interesting to see what I photographed on the first half of the roll many Moons ago. Great story.

From about 30 years ago...a girl from my high school.
Yes, I remember her name, though I doubt she'd remember mine.
Taken with a Mamiya C220.

This isn't my oldest, but it was taken with my first proper camera, Leica IIIc/50mm f2.0 Summar. I tried to remove some of the scratches, It didn't work.

This was taken 35 years ago in the Jerusalem Souk with my M2 & Summaron 35/2.8. The shoemaker was fixing my son's sandal. Some months later, I went looking for him and he was gone. mike
