im thinking that there should be another way to 'turn off' the metering other than using the case, otherwise it really cuts down on your readiness for taking pictures everytime you need to take the top half case off. any ideas? (a little 'lens' cap thing for the metering window?)

- a camera tape cap, with a square of tape against the adhesive in front of the meter
- a wide rubber band used vertically (if using a strap it will be kept there hanging)
- instead of the rubber band a cloth that velcroes on the top, attached to the bottom
- a squared C piece of plastic of the right size., from the top facing down. Maybe it can be done with aluminum sheet and a velvety covering to avoid scratching the meter (and VF) window. Maybe some magnet sheet can be added as a refinement to keep it there : )

1971 Olympus 35 RC kit with new light seals. The camera came with original UV filter, lens hood and case. The rest were items I had stashed away from my Olympus Trip 35 days which of course fit the 35RC.
