Im a big fan of these often under rated cameras, and after much looking have finally compiled a good 500 kit. So I thought all us Ricoh users should get in with the camera porn and show them off...
Here's mine to get us going
Picture 1
With a period Twinklite 35 flash thats now modified to work off 2 AA batteries instead of the rare and truly frightening 240v original!
Picture 2
With the original Ricoh bulb flash and Ricoh meter, and some period Walz filters.
Picture 3
And lastly the camera with the original Ricoh meter.

My only Ricoh RF, so good I don't need more of them.

I've got a Ricoh 500 - and it takes wonderful shots - but I prefer slightly smaller cameras. Its a shame as it is a definite beauty. I really need to get it posted here so someone else can make good use of it.

I got the first one for $55 and it worked, so I bought the second for $45. They have been my favorites for a couple of years now. They have a Bayonet I filter and one I have dedicated to IR.

You should pick p. giannakis' 500G, is a wonderful little camera.
Love the Diacords, but didn't find an affordable one and finally bought a Rolleiflex.

I once had a five-one-nine, but ended up giving it away due to lack of use - a fine camera but it was competing for its place against a Konica IIIA. The Konica won.

Petronius, two latter I recognize as true RF's (leave alone full AE of 800ES) !

My Rolleiflex is much better constructed (by far). But for $50 if something happens it not a big deal.

My "No RF" was only for the R1!

Here's my 500 I just got.

Gonna Need A Smaller Lightmeter. by Abram Goglanian, on Flickr
It came with the original case (which I don't care for honestly) both the wide and tele aux lenses, external viewfinder, original lens hood and filters. I don't really see myself using the aux lenses, but the hood is definitely handy

My Ricoh GRD3 that I carry with me everyday
LKeithR
Improving daily--I think.
My contribution. A Ricoh 35 that my Dad bought in 1956. He moved on to other cameras but kept this one. When he died a few years ago I found it in one of his many boxes and saved it. It has been in one of "my" boxes till a couple months ago when i re-discovered it. I still haven't finished the first roll of film I put in it but this thread has prodded me into digging it out and finishing it off...
Don't know if I like it better with or without the half-case. It's a pity I just can't get enthused about film anymore because I really love the feel of this old beauty...

The first one showing my Ricoh Caplio 500SE before I removed that ugly and undiscreet silver ring from the zoom. The camera is turned on and the zoom at 28mm. An almost equivalent picture when the ring is removed can be seen a bit further down.
I've put a bit of tape in front of that flash which I never use anyway and also that darned AF-light which comes on per auto when the camera thinks it have got too dark. On most other compacts that AF-light can be turned off but on this model it cannot. Simply put a bit of tape over it and the the 500SE have proved itself to be decent at finding focus in low light without that thing.
The button to control the flash. Yes what can I say, I never use flash and that button can be touched to easily and the camera gets unresponsive for about 5 secs or more as it charges up. Very irritating.
Hence I borrowed an idea used by Michael Kamber and built up a small wall of tape. http://web.mac.com/kamberm/Leica_M8_Field_Test,_Iraq/Page_2.html
