Show us your SLR ..... WHAT?

Its the one camera that I've almost bought a few times, having new F1, F3 and om4 the Lx is the missing one!

If you get it chances are you are going to sell the F3 as the LX does everything the F3 does (and more) in the package of an FM2.

This is a bad pic of the LX with the M85mm f2:

The viewfinder is a window open on the world.

I have seen things that you humans wouldn't believe.
50mm f1.2 lense shooting wide open at minimum focus distance
200mm f2.8 gathering the light at long distance to ensure subject isolation
And all these pics will be lost in time like tears in the rain.

Another "Blade Runner" fan, I see. My favorite movie. :)

Argus CR-1 Lens Cap by P F McFarland, on Flickr

The CR-1 designation has worn off from the front of the camera, but you can still see it at certain angles. It sports an Auto-Cintar 2/55 that is very nice. I took this shot with the lens cap on to show that while being a screw-on type, it is registered to the filter ring so that the logo will always be level when fully installed.

Argus's first SLR, it was built by Chinon, as a modification of a model they already marketed to other camera companies.

I use the Konica metal lens hoods on many other lenses today, like the F2 OM Zuikos (they mostly have the 55mm filters). Have one on my 24/2 and my 35/2 Zuikos! Both are on strong rotation on my old Canon 5d classic!

I wish I had a couple more like it. I have an extra vinyl pouch for one, and I'm pretty sure my dad had a second one for his 35mm lens, but I didn't get all his gear after he died, only what remained after one or two moves for 10 years because of a neurotic second wife. C'est la vie.
