Are those as 'heavy' as they appear to be in pictures?

Yes...but you get used to it.

Funny thing though, when I place it next to my Agfa Super Silette, it's almost the same size width and depth. Of course the prism and mechanical additions add quite a bit to the total weight.

Impeccable kit, MtM! I've eyed and lusted after all variety of 6x7, 67, 67II but never bought one. Am I correct that the modern electronic 67II makes it so easy that you could just go through life blasting away with only medium format? If so, I would wish for some emulsion--even any one emulsion, any speed--of B&W to be available in 220. I'd be forever running out of ammo otherwise, with the problem that this beautiful beast doesn't use film backs like a Hassie or Bronica.

I got one of these for my brother last year, and it was hard to part with it.

My sister gave me this one in very good condition. I found a motor drive, 24/2.8 and 100/2.8 to go with it since it's such a nice camera.

I understand why you had a hard time letting it go.

My Dad's old Pentax, already somewhere in this thread.
Photo taken with a Canon 5d classic and 70-210 at 210mm and f11 on a tripod. Background was a sheet of paper.

I love this camera and it is permanetly in use. I put zink-air batteries in it, which i have to change every 3 month, because the unload in this time.
