The F, circa 1963, bought it used in 1974. Lens is a "Modern" Nikkor 50 mm f1.8 AiS Pancake with a Marumi lens protect
and a snubnose hood from a Voigtlander 40 mm lens. A nice Compact kit.
Bump on top of the prism was a swing I took at another photographer who kept pushing me and pushing me to get a shot
at some government event. Finally I swung at him with my camera but only hit his rig, ergo the bump on the prism.

I'm a big fan of the Olympus SLR's. Here's my OM4Ti, with Zuiko 50mm F1.2 lens.

Very pleasantly surprised with this little Nikon. Got it for £3 (without lens).

Chris, it is not a prism actually. It is a small "plastic" "thingie from the brilliant Cosina team. It allows you to put a finder on the top. There is no prism inside either. It was designed to be used with the limited production 12mm and 15mm Heliars in Nikon F mount.
The 21 works fine - mirror is up of course and though the rear element is close, very close, to the shutter, so far no problem. Looks good too!
Since the accessory is no longer available, a do-it-yourself version can be made using a Nikon F or F2 waist-level finder as the base and making a top piece from wood or whatever and adding a cold shoe to hold the viewfinder.
I was going to make one for myself until I decided that my Sigma 12~24 slapped on a cheap autofocus body worked just as well, and I didn't bother getting the CV 12 .

Picked this up on ebay...

Not bad for 7 bucks. Gave it a clean, replaced the seals and mirror cushion.
Now I just need to find an appropriate lens to go with it.
Here's one I've had (not working) for ages.

Unfortunately the shutter is completely stuffed and the cost of repairs just isn't worth it. Still I love the look of these in black.

My latest addition. It's waiting on a new brass gear for the mirror motor and the pop up flash doesn't pop up.
When I get some time I'll have a go at fixing the motor but I may just remove the broken fash bits to stop them migrating !

I got this the other day at a yard sale, have never had one, and haven't shot an SLR since the 1980s. Came with an F2.8 55mm macro lens. Meter still works.

Garrett--congrats! You'll love that combo--the lens is really excellent and sharp.
